Among the developments in the field of food biotechnology is the technology of obtaining the Zdorovye sour-milk beverage developed and introduced at Saransky Dairy Plant OJSC. Products of the Ocean series, containing Modifilan, a natural biologically active product from brown algae were developed and implemented at the food enterprises of the Republic of Mordovia. In 2007, a recipe for the “Bakery product “OCEAN BUN” (TU 9116-002-74638474-07) was developed.
Developments of Revina V.V. were awarded with diplomas and medals at exhibitions of various levels - the gold medal of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction for the development of biotechnology chipboard materials, medals at the First International Salon of Innovations and Investments (Moscow), at exhibitions “World of Biotechnology 2010, 2012, 2013” ( Moscow), etc.
He is the Head of Grants for the Federal Target Program of Russia and the Russian Science Foundation. Currently, scientific projects with a total volume of more than 34 million rubles are being implemented.
In 2018 he received a title of Professor of the Year of Russia.
